We stayed here twice recently with wonderful results. The hotel is modern, quiet, and professionally run. The rooms are commodious, clean and quiet. Coffee machine on every floor. Front desk operation is first class, friendly, efficient and very helpful. The attached restaurant is a wonderful combination of a comprehensive menu, friendly attentive service, and first class cooking with all the little extras -- accompaniements, plate garnishes and presentation, extras like multiple sauces, etc. The waitstaff is professional and friendly. Breakfast buffet is Icelandic/European standard (meat, cheese, yogurt, pastries, cereals, bread, fruit, coffee/tea, etc). The restaurant gives hotel guests 10% discount. The front desk will make reservations for many things, including transport to the airport or around town, tours, etc. AND, it's a good value in an expensive city. This hotel is a gem. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Stayed here four nights with my wife. Wonderful hotel with friendly staff and good service and perhsps most important ... clean. Nice size room with all necessaties supplied. Basic breakfast but good.

Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! Good location, all staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is so clean and the rooms are lovely! Breakfast had a great selection and you get 10% off your meal at the restaurant next door which is a nice touch! Would definitely visit again, thank you for our lovely stay 🙂

We booked a triple room for our stay in Reykjavik. This was perfect since none of us wanted to share a bed. 22 Hill was very accommodating in allowing us to request early check in upon our arrival. By the time we returned from breakfast, our room was ready for us. It was surprisingly spacious and extremely clean (even under the beds). The bathroom had a corner shower with great water pressure and hot water. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, were extremely friendly and helpful. Both Angelica and Albert were amazing. You can book the day excursions through the hotel. Continental breakfast is included (toast, jam, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruits, veggies, lunch meat and cheese.) I can't recommend 22 Hill enough! Thanks for great and reasonably priced accommodations during our stay.

I visited this hotel for 3 nights as a solo female traveller. Staff on my arrival were very friendly and happy. My room was 3rd floor tucked away at the back, I had no issues with noise and had a pleasant nights sleep. Room was heated plenty, beds and room very clean. Tea/coffee was located on a station on each floor to help yourself. Breakfast was served on the adjoining restaurant, plenty of options, booked eggs, meat, cheese, cereal and toast. Plenty to fill you for your day. Located a street away is a couple of supermarkets. I ate in the restaurant on my last night this was very nice and hotel guests get 10% discount. Main reception is manned 24/7 allowing access from your late night trips or early morning returns to the airport, breakfast packs can be provided albeit I didn't order one. I'd highly recommend this hotel especially for solo travellers, staff were happy to offer there advise for trips etc, the hotel is one of the hotels tour companies pick up from outside this saved any trouble of having to find a bus stop. There is on strert parking outside if you choise to rent a car. Thank you for my accomodation on my 1st adventure to Iceland. Ill certainly be recommending this hotel to anyone who visits Iceland.

Stayed at the Hotel for 4 nights, 3 Adults sharing one room. The hotel was clean, comfortable and warm. The coffee and tea on each floor was a really nice touch. The staff were always friendly & helpful and Albert is a real asset to this hotel with his friendly help advice and tips on what to do and where to go. I slept really well here and would definitely stay here again no question about it.

Stayed at the 22 Hill Hotel while in Reykjavik for a few days. I chose this hotel because all of the tours, etc would pick up from this location which kept me from finding a bus stop and waiting in the cold. It's just on the outside of the downtown area but still within walking distance to everything I wanted to see. The staff was wonder and the room was clean. They also have a complimentary breakfast that's pretty good. I definitely recommend.

Your room number is. Please make your way to your room and use code # to enter.

Breakfast

All reservations have breakfast included. The breakfast buffet is available between 7 AM and 10 AM. To go to the restaurant, walk past the reception and go down the hall to the right. The restaurant is at the end of the hallway. Please respect our quiet hours between 11 PM and 8 AM.

Hotel Policies

Standard Reservations: If cancelled up to 4 days before arrival, NO fee will be charged.

The hotel reserves the right to charge for the whole stay up to 4 days before arrival.

If cancelled, modified or in case of no-show, the entire price of the reservation will be charged.

Pre-Payment: The hotel reserves the right to ”pre-authorize” all credit cards provided to confirm validity of credit card amount 1.000 ISK.

All payments to the hotel are made in the local currency Icelandic Kronur (ISK). Payments made to the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel.

Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.

22 Hill Hotel is a NON smoking hotel, as are ALL public buildings in Iceland.

Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited in the premises, and violators will be fined 25.000 ISK.

Strictly NO pets allowed.

Helpful Hints

Iceland uses 220v standard European outlets/plugs.

Most establishments in Iceland accept Icelandic Krónur, Euros, US/Canadian Dollars and British Pounds and all major credit cards are accepted.

If you do any shopping in Iceland, any goods purchased over the value of 12.000 ISK which you intend to export, you are entitled to claim a tax free form and you will receive a refund on departure at Keflavík Airport.

Directions

If you are arriving from Keflavík International Airport, we are approximately 50 KM drive, if you hire a rental car you simply enter the destination into the GPS system.

The FlyBus and Airport Express shuttle buses depart from Keflavík regularly, and after flight arrival also. They will drop you directly at the hotel door, the transfer time takes approx. 1 hour.

Parking

There is paid parking directly outside the hotel and on the parallel street. However, there is free parking to the left of the entrance and across the street. Please note that free parking in the area is limited.

Stayover Service

You will find a door hanger describing the steps to request stayover service. To have your trash taken
out and towels changed, hang the door hanger on the outside of your room before 11:00 am, blue side
out, and we will service your room between 11 – 15.
